Who are we?
The Sapsan UAV Operator Training Centre was founded by Igor Duzhenko together with a team of professional instructors who responded to the need of the Ukrainian Defence Forces for reliable and highly qualified UAV operators from the very first day of its operation. We understood that modern defence requires not only trained drone pilots, but also trained engineers capable of maintaining and developing the technology. Therefore, in addition to training operators, we focused our efforts on training engineers and set up the production of the necessary equipment.
Our mission and values
The lives of Ukraine’s defenders are our main value. In these challenging times, creating a modern, technologically advanced army is a key task to ensure victory and security. One of the most effective ways to strengthen our defence capabilities is to develop a drone army, as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) not only provide a strategic advantage, but can also save the lives of our military and civilians.
Our mission is ‘Training that saves lives’. We embody this principle in every training programme, covering all aspects of UAV flying and reliable communications.
We train operators who have already successfully deployed multirotor, FPV drones and aircraft-type FPV in the hottest spots of the frontline
The Sapsan Centre combines advanced technologies and best practices to offer training that meets the requirements of modern warfare. Our methodology is a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical flights in various conditions, so that each graduate is ready for real challenges.
